Almanor Art Show set for June 24

Save the date for Plumas Arts’ 52nd annual Almanor Art Show on the Collins Pine Lawn in Chester on Saturday, June 24th and Sunday, June 25th.

Plumas Arts is pleased to showcase a variety of artists that create beautiful and unique works such as paintings, ceramic art, glass work, metal work, woodworking, photographs, and printmaking. You will also find an array of jewelry, fabric art, solar crafts, body products, high quality wood furniture, hand spun and died yarn, artisan foods, and more. Items will be available for purchase directly from the artists and vendors during the show.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission to the event is free so you can spend your money supporting the artists and professional crafters. Food will be available to purchase all weekend from a delicious food truck, Fiesta Fresh Grill, and Bakers Choice Kettle Corn will be popping fresh during all show hours.

Enjoy a dance performance on Saturday by a Susanville group, J&J Performing Arts. Sunday, local vocalist and song writer, Suzanne de Martimprey will be performing on and off during the show all day.

Plumas Arts has coordinated the Almanor Art Show since 1983. Any event proceeds support local art education programs throughout Plumas County.
