Master Gardener flower event set for June 13

COLUMBUS, Ind. – The South Central Indiana Master Gardener Association (SCIMGA) will be holding a public event called "Decorative Containers for Flowers" on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Purdue Extension Office Annex Building in Columbus.

Speaker Darren Collins will be talking about different ways to grow beautiful flowers in containers, from pots to hanging baskets and everything in-between. Collins spent 16 years as the Nursery Manager at Frank's Nursery & Crafts, then 12 years as Nursery & Greenhouse Manager at Whichmeier's Nursery. He is currently the Head Designer at Fisher's Flower Basket.
